AUSTIN(WBAP/KLIF)- NFL technology is coming to the biggest games in Texas high school football.
instant replay will make its debut at the state football championships in December.
UIL Executive Director Dr. Charles Breithaupt says instant replay “will help ensure that the calls during the biggest games of the year are as correct as possible.”
The technology will only be in use for state title games, not for the regular season and there will be no coaches’ challenges as reviews will be initiated by the replay officials.
