DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A shooting Sunday afternoon around 1:49 p.m, leaves one dead and one injured.
Lancaster Police responded to a shooting in progress at a Lancaster IHOP (790 N. Interstate Highway 35E). Upon arrival, officers found two gunshot victims outside, in front of the restaurant. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, from apparent gunshot wounds. A woman who was also shot was taken to a local hospital but expected to survive.
The shooter turned himself in to Duncanville Police. A spokesperson for Lancaster Police Department said this is an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing.
