(Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A passenger who was on a flight from Hong Kong to DFW airport Saturday, says she got the runaround from American Airlines officials after a ceiling tile and an oxygen tank allegedly fell from the ceiling onto her 1-year old’s head while landing.
The woman, identified as Jennifer Zanone posted about the ordeal on Facebook Satuday. She expresses disappointment with American Airlines, and says that her son was sitting on her lap when the incident occurred. She also says she was directed to wait for a gate agent to document the incident, until the captain himself walked off the flight and apologized.
Meantime, she said that she got the runaround for the next hour-an-a-half, and that no one from the airline documented the incident.
In another post on Sunday, Zanone added that someone from the airline had called her and told her how to learn more about the case.
Zanone says her child is probably ok, but that she’s taking him to be checked out just in case.
