DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas man has been charged in the shooting death of an elderly security guard in north Dallas.
Investigators said Randal Terrell shot and killed 72-year-old Adane Weldekiros at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites near Greenville Avenue and 635 around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
It’s believed the men had an argument before the shooting when the security guard asked Terrell to leave the property.
The gun used in the shooting was found in an open brief case next to Terrell, who was still there when police arrived.
Witnesses say he then waited for police to show up and was arrested.
Terrell is being held on $100,000 bond.
