Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones to Reimburse NFL $2 Million

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly agreed to reimburse the NFL $2 million in legal fees.

The fees are believed to be related to Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliot’s suspension appeal and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract extension.

The NFL said the matter between Jones and the league has been “resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.”

Earlier this week, Jones appeared at a hearing in front of the Commissioner and the league’s finance committee Monday in Florida.

He reportedly tried to slow down a contract extension for Goodell last season and voiced opposition to his player’s suspension for violating league policy.
