Federal experts have been called in to investigate last week’s fatal Dallas house explosion.

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A federal safety agency is now investigating last week’s fatal house explosion in Dallas. The National Transportation and Safety Board is sending a team of specialists to help work out why the northwest Dallas house blew up Friday morning. There had been several attempts to track down the source of reported natural gas odors in that neighborhood in the two or three days preceding the blast. 12 year old Linda Rogers was killed by the explosion. Several other occupants of the house were injured. Atmos Energy says it’s working on restoring gas to the neighborhood, but it could take a week.
