Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – Grand Prairie firefighters were kept busy overnight with a blaze that destroyed the Restaurante Hacienda Buffet on Main Street near I-30.
A passerby saw flames coming from the roof around 2am and called 9-1-1.
According to WFAA-TV, crews arrived and tried to put out the flames from the inside, but it was too dangerous. They moved outside to try and fight the fire, which was eventually put out just before 3 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The building will likely be a total loss, crews said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
