Laredo (WBAP/KLIF) – Customs inspectors seized a million dollars worth of marijuana at the World Trade Bridge border crossing in Laredo. They found two and a half tons of the illegal drug hidden in a tractor-trailer load of jalapeño peppers: 1300 wrapped and sealed packages of marijuana. Drug sniffing dogs found the contraband. Their human partners then seized the truck and its contents.
