FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) — A Northwest ISD school bus carrying around 20 students has crashed in North Fort Worth.

The crash happened around 8:15 Tuesday morning near Alliance Gateway and Park Vista after another car broadsided the bus.

“Crews reported on scenes that they had four people complaining of injuries: the driver of the bus, plus for children that were on the bus,” said Medstar’s Matt Zevadsky. “We had multiple units on scene assessing the rest of the patients.”

According to Northwest ISD, two of the kids were taken to the hospital. The district said the bus was carrying students from both Byron Nelson High School and Steele Accelerated High School.

Zavadsky said it’s too early to tell whose fault the accident was.

“The crews on scene said it appears to be a t-bone accident at an intersection,” Zavadsky said. “So someone was where they shouldn’t have been.”
