Haltom City (WBAP/KLIF) – What was apparently a home invasion in Haltom City turned into a gun battle Saturday night. Police say five intruders wearing masks smashed their way into one of the units at the Spanish Square apartment complex. The residents of the apartment opened fire. The intruders fired back, and within seconds four people had been shot: three of the residents, and one of the intruders. Police haven’t said what it was all about, but they are saying they have the suspects in custody.
