Multiple people rescued from a sinking boat near Port Aransas

(WBAP/KLIF) Several people were rescued by the Coast Guard after being stuck on a boat in distress after Hurricane Harvey. The boat called “Signet Express” held four people aboard when it nearly sunk near Port Aransas Texas on Saturday.

A Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrews responded to the scene and pulled everyone aboard to safety. The Coast Guard says they have rescued 15 people from vessels in distress.
