The feds have detained the survivors of a weekend human smuggling tragedy in San Antonio

San Antonio (AP) – U.S. authorities have detained 13 immigrants who were found inside the sweltering trailer of an 18 wheeler in San Antonio as potential witnesses in the resulting criminal investigation. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in San Antonio says the 13 survivors are now in federal custody. The tractor-trailer was found Sunday in a Walmart parking lot. Ten people inside died.
