PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) There is a plan on how to handle the additional traffic that’s coming to the city due to the opening of Toyota’s new headquarters. Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere says a new “mobility on demand” program will result in fewer cars on the road. He also says a transit management authority will consider organizing staggered work hours for the business district. About 30 thousand additional jobs outside of Toyota will be coming to Plano because of the move. The mayor says the headquarters is expected to add about $70M to the city’s economy over the next ten years.
