DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A North Texas woman will be the first black “Bachelorette.” Rachel Lindsay is an attorney at the Cooper and Sully Law Firm in Dallas. She’s currently appearing as a potential match for Nick Viall on the ABC series “The Bachelor,” where he gave her the “first impression rose” in its season premiere. She has yet to be eliminated from the show, but the coming announcement of her lead in The Bachelorette is an obvious indicator of what’s to come. Lindsay’s father is a federal judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The 13th season of The Bachelorette starts in May.
