DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police have made an arrest in a sexual assault that took place in the Pleasant Grove area. 33 year old Cesar Gonzalez has been taken into custody for an attack that took place on November 5, 2016.
The victim says she accepted a ride from Gonzalez and he drove her to a residential street near the intersection of Lake June Road and North Prairie Creek Road and sexually assaulted her. She says at some point during the assault he claimed he was either a Dallas Police Officer or a Dallas County Officer.
Gonzalez was arrested in 2010 for impersonating a police officer and was sentenced to five years probation.
The victim was able to get the license plate number from his truck. Police tracked Gonzalez down at his home. He is currently in the Dallas County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
