FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News)  The public can learn more about 3D printing, robotics, and electronics in Fort Worth. The city’s library opened a “makerspace” at the northwest branch on Crystal Lake Drive. The library calls the area Panther Lab. It’s open for 16 hours a week over a span of 4 days and completely free and chock-full of activities that explore technology-driven skills, according to the Star Telegram. The library says it’s a way for it to stay current and help people familiarize themselves with skills that are needed in today’s business world. The lab is funded by city dollars and a private business.
