Time’s Running Out to Register to Vote November 8th

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – The push is on to get Dallas County voters registered.

The Dallas County Elections Department’s bi-lingual coordinator, Laura Varela, says there’s only another couple of weeks to get registered to vote on November 8th.

“The deadline is October 11th, so they should hurry to get to do an early voting location,” said Varela. “Early voting starts October 24th, all the way to November 4th.”

To register in person, you don’t need any documentation, just your social security number or Texas driver license. You’re supposed to have your ID on Election Day, but if you don’t have it, you can sign an affidavit swearing you’re eligible to vote in Texas.
