Suspect Wounded in Shootout with Dallas Police Overnight

dpd-oisDallas  (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Police arrested a man who allegedly shot at officers responding to a disturbance call early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:36 a.m at an apartment complex on Argentia Dr. just east of South Zang Boulevard in Oak Cliff.

Officers responded to a call after the suspect was allegedly trying to kick down the door of an apartment. Police said when they arrived outside the victim’s apartment, the suspect shot at officers. They said one officer fired back and hit the suspect.

No officers were injured in the shootout. The suspect was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The identification of the suspect has not been released.
