(WBAP/KLIF News) Many former olympians are staying home from this year’s summer games amid fears of the Zika crisis in Brazil. Carly Patterson is a gold medal gymnast and she’s among those who have backed out of attending. Patterson told KLIF Morning News her role would’ve been brand ambassador and guest correspondent for the Today Show. She officially retired from gymnastics after a back injury and is now working on a singing career.
