Forth Worth School Bathroom Guidelines

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas attorney general Ken Paxton thinks the Fort Worth school district’s trans-gender bathroom guidelines are illegal.

In a non-binding legal opinion Paxton says superintendent Kent Scribner violated Texas education code when he moved forward on the policy without school board approval.

It allows trans-gender students to use the bathroom of their choice.

At Tuesday night’s school board meeting Scribner said the controversial guidelines will be modified.
