Another Hot Car Death

McKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF) – A Melissa man has been charged with manslaughter after leaving his six-month-old daughter in a hot car. She later died.

Collin county deputies responded to a call at a rural home and found the infant unresponsive. It’s unclear how long she’d been in the vehicle.

33-year-old Michael Thedford was released from jail after posting a $20,000 bond. The investigation continues.

The medical examiner will rule on an official cause of death.
