PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – Drivers who use the Dallas North Tollway through Plano already know about work on the busy roadway, but starting this weekend there will be a new headache.
The North Texas Tollway Authority will close all main lanes of the thoroughfare from Highway 121 to Parker Road beginning late Friday night. It will continue through early Monday morning.
It’s so crews can demolish of the Tennyson Parkway bridge. Plans call for the same thing to happen next weekend too.
Drivers will still be able to use frontage roads to move through the major north-south corridor.
