DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas attorney general Ken Paxton has lost another bid to have securities fraud charges against him dismissed.
A Dallas appeals court upheld indictments accusing him of misleading investors in private business dealings before he took office.
The charges against Paxton were initially handed up by a Collin county grand jury. He’s entered a plea of not guilty.
It’s unclear if Paxton’s defense team will appeal to the highest criminal court in the state.
