GLENN HEIGHTS (WBAP/KLIF News) – We’re coming up on tornado season and for victims of the December 26th tornadoes, that could mean more damage to communities that still haven’t recovered or rebuilt.

“We need to be aware of our weather and just be cautious and be prepared.”

Glenn Heights Fire Chief Eddie Burns says more than 40 homes and two churches in his town were destroyed by the December tornado, but no one was killed.

Tornadoes also hit Garland, Rowlett and Copeville. A total of 13 people died in the tornadoes and hundreds of homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed.
