DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price has managed to hold onto his seat.
While the final numbers have not come in, Price’s challenger Dwaine Caraway conceded the race late Tuesday.
Last week, a fight broke out between Price and Caraway during a radio broadcast at a local gospel station. Video of the heated exchange showed the two shouting and shoving. Police are looking into a claim that Price put his hands on one of Caraway’s staff member. Two people connected to the fight have filed lawsuits.
Price is facing public corruption charges in a separate case. His trial is pending.
