FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) You may remember the pink running shoes former Texas Senator Wendy Cavis wore when she filibustered abortion rights three years ago. Now may be your chance to buy sneakers just like those, at an estate sale Davis is holding. She is getting rid of most of her personal belongings before she moves from Fort Worth to Austin. Among the items Davis is selling are clothes, handbags, electronics and appliances. She told the morning news that she’d never sell the actual pink running shoes she wore that day on the floor of congress, but that she has a pair just like them, still in the box and autographed. Davis says she will miss Fort Worth but that it’s time to start the next chapter of her life. The sale runs today and tomorrow from 10am-4pm at 2727 Calder Court in Fort Worth.
