DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A new poll says it’s a virtual “dead heat” in Texas between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
The WFAA Texas Tegna survey has the two republicans knotted at 32-percent each. Marco Rubio is a distant third at 17-percent.
But in North Texas a big difference. Trump leads Cruz 34-to-28-percent.
On the democratic side–Hillary Clinton has a 61-to-32 percent margin over Bernie Sanders.
The survey included over 1,700 voters statewide. They were polled by phone and over the internet.
Voters in Texas will go to the polls Tuesday in the state’s primary election for both parties.
