Kurt Gilchrist's Bio
Kurt Gilchrist grew up in between Houston and West Texas having made the move back and forth a number of times with a dad in Oilfield Construction. Kurt was looking into a career in Advertising or Economics and had a friend who worked at a radio station while going to Texas Tech.

Kurt worked a number of years in Austin and Houston before doing satellite radio in Washington DC for 10 years where he was in Sr Program Director of the decade music channels for XM Satellite Radio. But being somewhat of a news and sports junkie, an opportunity to play moderator for a show with Political Strategist James Carville and NBC's Luke Russert came up. Kurt auditioned. 'We had great chemistry and had a blast' Kurt was hooked. With aging family here in Texas, Kurt jumped at the chance to get to Dallas. 'Virginia was nice but, Texas is home'
