Kroger Opens New Locations While Closing Others

(WBAP/KLIF) – Kroger is opening up new locations in fast growing areas of North Texas, while shutting down some older stores. Recently Kroger has closed stores in both Garland and McKinney, and is planning to shutter 60 additional locations across the country. However, as Kroger closes locations, the company is also expanding into fast-growing suburbs of North Texas. The chain has plans to open new stores in Anna, Little Elm, and in the Bonds Ranch and Sendera Ranch neighborhoods in Fort Worth.
