DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas hair salon owner and anti-Covid lock down activist Shelley Luther is said to be fighting for her life after suffering an aneurysm earlier this month.
According to a Facebook post from her husband, Luther has had multiple surgeries but has not regained consciousness after a brain aneurysm April 5th.
Luther garnered attention when she reopened her Dallas salon in violation of Covid-19 guidelines in 2020.
She was found in contempt of court and sentenced to 7 days in jail, but was released early following an order from the Texas Supreme Court.
She ran unsuccessfully for the Texas Senate in 2020 and the Texas House last year.
