DFW Volunteers To Help With Arkansas Tornado Recovery

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A team of volunteers from the Texas Baptist Men is on its way to Little Rock, Arkansas to help with tornado recovery. Spokesman John Hall says they’re taking special, self-contained mobile kitchens to feed the tornado victims and first responders. He says at first they were told they’d be feeding about three thousand people a day, but that number is rising rapidly. Hall says they can feed ten thousand a day without too much strain. The team of volunteers is also bringing laundry facilities, and will provide clean clothing, free of charge, to those in the affected areas.
