Arlington Police Seeking Information in Fatal Hit-and-Run

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Arlington Police are asking the public to help solve a deadly hit-and-run.

It happened Saturday, October 22, on West Division Street between Davis and Fielder.

68-year-old Charlotte Rankin was hit by a car traveling westbound on Division as she tried to cross the roadway.

Investigators say the driver never stopped to help her.

The suspect’s car is believed to be a 2011 Ford Escape or a 2011 Mercury Mariner that will have visible damage on the front passenger side and may be missing the passenger side rear view mirror.

The department released sample photos of what both vehicle models look like. Investigators do not know what color the vehicle is.
