(WBAP/KLIF) — Southwest Airlines reports corporate travel is lower than projected during the third quarter.

Southwest officials released the statement, Thursday, indicating that revenue from managed business travel is down 26% to 28% from 2019 levels. Southwest says sales of last-minute business-related travel turned softer starting in late July. The Dallas-based airline expects a seasonal boost in business travel following the end of summer.
Southwest does say that demand for leisure travel remains strong.
