Ft. Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The murder trial of former Fort Worth police officer Aaron Dean will not take place next week as scheduled. The trial has been delayed again after his attorneys filed a motion asking for a new judge because, according to them,
presiding Judge David Hagerman has become increasingly hostile toward them.
The trial was delayed 18 months because of Covid-19, last month lawyers asked for a delay because one of the attorneys is sick. Hagerman denied the request and scheduled jury selection for June 21st.
Dean is accused of shooting and killing Atatiana Jefferson…a black woman, who was inside her home in 2019, while responding to a call about an open door.
