Dallas City Council to Review City Manager’s Job Performance

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas City Council wants a closer look at the job performance of a top city official.

A special city council meeting is set for next week. A review of City Manager T.C. Broadnax’s job performance is on the agenda.

A city memo cites “significant performance” issues.

The special meeting was requested by several council members, including Paula Blackmon.

“As a person who wants to hold our city officials accountable, we need to have this conversation,” said Blackmon. “We need bold leadership.”

According to a memo, members will consider possible firing or discipline. The meeting is set for Wednesday at City Hall.
