
GARLAND (WBAP/KLIF News) – Garland Police continue to search for the teen suspect in a triple murder who has been on the run for over a month.
14-year-old Abel Acosta is charged with Capital Murder in the shooting death so three teens and the injury of a fourth one during an altercation at a convenience store in the 700 block of West Walnut Street just after 7:30 p.m. December 26,2021.
Acosta has not been seen since he took off with his father in a vehicle immediately after the shooting.
Police continue to ask for the public’s help and a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Abel is described as Hispanic with dark hair, brown eyes, 5’5″ tall and weighs about 125 pounds.
Richard Acosta, Abel’s father, turned himself in December 27 and is jailed on a Capital Murder charge for his alleged involvement. He’s being held on a $3,000,000 bond.
