DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – As a powerful winter storm sweeps across North Texas, DART has suspended all rail operations through Sunday, February 6.
The transit agency’s Gordon Shattles said buses will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
“We’ve stayed in close contact with the National Weather Service. The extent of the weather that we’re expecting we want to make sure that our passengers and our employees are safe at this time,” he said.
DART has implemented what it calls the “Operation Scenario 2” plan and will have 14 shuttle bus routes between rail stations and service every 45 minutes.
The Trinity Railway Express is still operating despite the storm but experienced some delays Thursday morning.
