Supreme Court Could Rule On Texas Abortion Law Monday

Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – The Supreme Court could rule as soon as Monday on the new Texas law that all but bans abortions after roughly six weeks. The court said on its website Friday that the justices plan to issue at least one opinion Monday. If so, that will be the first formal opinion of the Court’s new term. There’s no guarantee the two cases before it over the Texas law will be resolved by that opinion, but the court did put the Texas cases on a rarely used fast track, and Monday is almost certainly the last chance it will have to rule on them before the justices hear arguments December 1 in a broader reaching Mississippi abortion case.
