Gas Prices Headed Down…Slightly

(WBAP/KLIF) — Gas prices in the Metroplex are relatively unchanged over the past week. Residents of the Dallas area saw the cost of a gallon of regular unleaded at $2.88, down a penny. Tarrant County was a bit less at $2.87, while Houston had the cheapest gas in the country at $2.72. The average U.S. price of regular unleaded was $3.19 per gallon, $1 more than last year. According to the survey, the average price of diesel was $3.35 a gallon, up a fraction of a cent.
