DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A recent rise in road rage shootings is prompting local Police departments to take action.
Dallas Police report at least 8 suspected road rage shootings in the last several weeks that have left the victims dead or seriously hurt. Just last week, a pregnant woman was shot while driving. Chief Eddie Garcia had a message for potential shooters on Monday.
“We will find you and we will hold you accountable to the fullest extent,” Chief Garcia insisted.
He gave advice to motorists.
“Do not be aggressive back to these individuals when aggression occurs,” the Chief said. “Remain calm and turn the other cheek because you may end up dealing with the wrong individual.”
Dallas Police have recently enhanced road rage and erratic driving enforcement.
