Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – Early voting for the May 1 elections ends tomorrow.
It’s a wide open field in for mayor races and city council seats across the metroplex.
In Arlington and Fort Worth, there are almost 10 candidates running for mayor alone; also in Arlington, the local elections are the first since term limits voted in for mayor and city council. Seven candidates are vying for the mayor’s office.
23 different candidates are running for TX District 6, a US House of Representatives seat left vacant by the late Rep. Ron Wright. The district encompasses In Tarrant, Ellis and Navarro Counties.
