Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fire-Rescue was called out late Saturday night to fight a roaring fire in a set of under-construction apartment buildings in Old East Dallas. The first units on the scene near Ross and Fitzhugh avenues found so much fire they immediately went to three alarms. It took more than 60 firefighters about an hour to bring it all under control. The frameworks of four buildings were destroyed, but there were no occupants, and no injuries to the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
