WASHINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – In new twitter video, President Donald Trump condemned violence Wednesday when protesters breached the U.S. Capitol building causing lawmakers to shelter in place and evacuate.
President Trump also acknowledged that a new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th.
In the video, the president said his legal team was exercising their right to make sure there was no election fraud and he called on election laws to be changed.
Earlier Thursday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany spoke on behalf of the entire White House condemning the actions of protesters the day before.
President Trump’s new video comes as a growing number of political leaders in Washington are calling for his removal from the office either by the 25th amendment or quick impeachment. Click to watch President Trump’s video below:
