Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – Gallup is out with a new ‘Most Admired’ poll, which has President Trump edging out Former President Barack Obama for the first time in 12 years as most admired man in America.
Eighteen percent of the 1,018 respondents gave the title to Trump, while Obama was most admired by 15%.
President-elect Joe Biden came in third in the voting with 6%.
Infectious diseases expert Dr. Anthony Fauci and Pope Francis rounded out this year’s top five.
Former first lady Michelle Obama retained her title as the most admired woman in the country for the third straight year; Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was second followed by First Lady Melania Trump.
The poll also shows that 39% of those who responded approve of Trump’s job performance.
