Galleria Dallas Preparing for a Safe, Socially Distanced Black Friday

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Black Friday shopping will look a little different this year.

Holly Quartero with Galleria Dallas says to limit crowds, shoppers can expect to see earlier deals and later deals this year. She calls it more like a “Black Friday Season.”

“With online retailers announcing shipping delays and shipping problems, it’s important to shop local,” said Quartero. “You can even buy online or order over the phone and pick it up in stores. We even have to-go curbside shopping and we can bring it right to your car if you don’t feel comfortable coming into the store,” she said.

Quartero said the Galleria has made many changes to keep health and safety in mind and they’re thrilled to continue the tradition this year and bring the magic of the holidays to shoppers.

“Galleria Dallas is one of the most iconic destinations for North Texans during the holiday season and it all kicks off on Black Friday,” she said.

The Galleria has increased house keeping to wipe down high touch point areas throughout the day, they are also providing face masks and hand sanitizer.

“Galleria has been a leader in making sure all protocols are being followed and we are keeping our shoppers safe…We have had to rethink evrything” said Quartero. “There’s also plenty of room to social distance here,” she said.

She said you can still ice skate around the country’s tallest largest indoor christmas tree, there will be a socially distanced Santa experience and “SNOWDAY Dallas” a multi-sensory holiday adventure.
