Runoff Date Announced in North Texas Special Election

AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – An important date is now set in a North Texas run-off election.

Governor Greg Abbott named December 19 as special-election day in the runoff for Senate District 30 to fill Senator Pat Fallon’s seat.

State Rep Drew Springer and Dallas Salon Owner Shelley Luther are on the ballot. The district covers a big chunk of north Texas including parts of Grayson, Denton, Collin, and Parker Counties.

Early voting for the runoff starts December 9.
