
DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas County reports 474 new positive cases of COVID-19, plus 154 older cases, and 21 probably cases, for a total of 638 confirmed cases.
The county reported that diabetes has been an underlying high-risk health condition reported in about a third of all hospitalized patients with COVID-19. About 25 % of the total confirmed deaths reported since the pandemic began have been associated with long-term care facilities. The percentage of cases occurring in young adults aged 18 to 22 years was 13% for the month of September.
Tarrant County reported 601 coronavirus cases and 2 deaths on Sunday. That’s the highest number of new cases since August 16th.
Collin County reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, after a surge of nearly 14 hundred on Saturday.
According to the New York Times, there are more than 7.4 million coronavirus cases in the U.S., and 35 million worldwide.
