Woman Suspected of Sending Poisonous Ricin to WH Previously Arrested in Texas

Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – A woman suspected of sending an envelope containing the poison ricin, which was addressed to the White House is also suspected of sending similar packages to Texas Law enforcement agencies.

53-year old Pascale Ferrier, (pictured right) is a Canadian citizen and a computer programmer. She was taken into custody by U.

S. Customs and Border agents at the Peace Bridge which connects the Canadian-U.S. border at the New York state line.

The letter was intercepted at a government facility that screens mail addressed to the White House and President Trump.

The woman had previously been arrested in Mission, Texas, while living in the United States.

Ricin is a poison that can be made from the waste left over from processing castor beans. Castor beans are used to make castor oil. Ricin can potentially be used as a biological weapon. It can be turned into an aerosol and inhaled. It can also be ingested from poisoned food or a contaminated water supply or injected, according to Wikipedia.
