DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The Dallas Stars are continuing their quest for a second Stanley Cup.
The Stars have advanced to the Western Conference finals after defeating the Colorado Avalanche in game 7 overtime 5-4. Forward Joel Kiviranta is recognized as the hero of the game after netting the game winning goal.
This is the first time the Stars are making an appearance in the conference finals since 2008. If they win the next series, the stars will get a chance to play for the Stanley Cup, something they haven’t done since the year 2000.
The Stars will play the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the conference final.
