Parents Fear Both In-School & At-Home Instruction

(WBAP/KLIF) — As both in-person and virtual education is being offered by a number of school districts this fall, parents are faced with a dilemma.  Many must choose whether to send their kids to school during a pandemic or attempt to manage their learning at home.

The daunting task of helping children with virtual learning has resulted parents looking for private tutors.  Katy Berryhill is one such teacher who says kids sometimes struggle with school at home, as they don’t respond well to learning on a computer.

According to WFAA, google searches report that inquiries for in-home tutors has increased in North Texas.  The cost to hire a private tutor begins at $25 an hour and goes up.
